UOL, Hilton sign deal for first NoMad Hotel in Apac at former Faber House site
Andrew Zobler, owner and president of Sydell Group, says that the brand’s launching in Singapore is just the beginning, with a number of offers “in advanced discussions in destinations in North America, Europe and more”.
UOL Group is taking part in influences with international hospitality leader Hilton to launch the initial NoMad Lodging in Asia Pacific. Hilton is going to manage procedures of the 173-room high-end accommodation, which will be positioned at the previous Faber House on Orchard Road. The hotel is readied to start in early 2027.
Created by WOHA, the hotel is going to include a biophilic layout with a 15-storey waterfall and a “cliff-like verdant upright landscape” established right into the exterior. There will additionally be an “urban verandah”: a public place on the 3rd level that will be used for art and style programs. UOL claims the urban verandah will also facilitate future connections to bordering property developments.
Many other functions of the resort include a lobby on level five with an adjacent sky balcony and an infinity terrace swimming pool overlooking Orchard Road, and a rooftop bar and dining establishment.

NoMad is a deluxe lifestyle lodging brand concentrating on state-of-the-art style, first-rate eating and immersive cultural programming. Established by US hospitality business Sydell Group, the label signed up with the Hilton portfolio following the group’s acquisition of a bulk stake in Sydell Group in 2024. At the moment, NoMad has one front runner site in London, with intentions to increase around the world.
Faber House was an eight-storey business building situated throughout the street from 313@somerset. In 2021, UOL got in-principle authorizations to redevelop the site into a 19-storey resort under URA’s Strategic Development Initiative (SDI) system. The lodging will also consist of business and retail area.
